About Srikanth...

I had a very successful corporate career for more than 20 years in large MNCs like Samsung and Microsoft. I have always believed fitness is part of daily life. I have been very active physically while growing up. However, busy corporate life was pushing me towards a sedentary lifestyle. I took up aerobics to get my body in shape and later yoga to get my mind & soul in shape. I wanted to experiment running as a sport to get discipline without ever realizing it was going to set my life on another orbit.

I started running when I was 45+ and ran my debut full marathon (42.2km) and the ultramarathon (50km) when I was 50+. The discipline required for running long distances have rubbed into several other areas of my life. Running a 50km nonstop for several hours under the hot sun has developed mental toughness in me.

I am a credentialed coach (Professional Certified Coach) by the International Coach Federation. My approach to fitness is different from several other approaches. Overall fitness is about being fit physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. That’s what I believe will lead someone to achieve peak performance.

My philosophy on fitness coaching is completely aligned to what the pioneers in the coaching field, Sir John Whitmore and Timothy Gallway believed. My role as a coach is to help my clients to raise their awareness levels, hold them accountable for actions and make them responsible for the outcomes. I truly believe that everyone has the potential to perform at their peak levels. My role is to help them to remove the obstacles by shifting their mindset towards taking actions and eventually produce results.

Finally, I would like to quote what one of my mentors said, “Treat your body like a temple. That’s the only place you have to live!”
